I thank you in advance for your compliance with the Terms and Conditions of Sandhill House.

If you ( the guest) participate in any extra activities that may be available during your time at the retreat such as surfing, horse riding, cycling, hill climbing etc, you must have insurance that will cover these activities. Sandhill House is not liable for non compliance to this. It is your responsibility to obtain any travel insurance required for your time at Sandhill House and the activities that you wish to do during that time.

I will let you know as soon as I can if, through no fault of your own, I am forced to significantly alter or cancel your retreat. In these circumstances you can choose one of the following options:

  • a) accept an offer of a replacement retreat of lower cost (if available) and I will refund the difference in cost; or

  • b) accept an offer of a replacement retreat of equivalent cost or

  • c) ask for a refund of the money you have paid.

At Sandhill House, we appreciate all feedback so please feel free to share anything that you think could add further to your experience.

Cancellation Policies:


We require a 50% booking deposit to secure a reservation. Balance due 4 weeks prior to arrival. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

On all bookings, the deposit is non-refundable.

Cancellation 2 – 4 weeks before the date of arrival – 75% of total booking price is taken

Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the date of arrival – 100% of total booking price is taken

All cancellations must be notified in writing to info@sandhillhousedonegal.com and are not valid until the guest has received an e-mail confirming the cancellation.

We strongly advise that all of our guests take out travel insurance to cover any costs associated with having to cancel your booking at Sandhill House.

Venue Hire:

£500 non-refundable deposit due within 7 days of booking.

50% of remaining balance due 60 days before arrival at Sandhill House.

Final balance due 30 days before the retreat begins

Venue Hire closes off other business at Sandhill House. For that reason, the Hirer is responsible to pay cancellation fees as follows:

Cancellation 30 days or less prior to arrival 100 % of full booking fee is due to Sandhill House.

Cancellation 30+ days prior to arrival 80 % of full booking fee is due to Sandhill House.

Cancellation 60 days prior to arrival 50 % of full booking fee is due.

The cancellation policy applies to all reasons for cancellation. Holiday insurance is recommended to cover for the unexpected.

All cancellation fees must be paid at the time you make your cancellation.

If for any reason Sandhill House has to cancel a booking all money paid shall be refunded.


Please be aware that there is a 24 hour cancelation policy.

I am unable to reaccredit for workshop cancellations made inside 24 hours.
